Ready or Not: Fulham

A few hours from now Man United will be facing Fulham. This is the first away game for United since Oct 5th. The Champions will step into this determined to keep the unbeaten run going. So far, we haven't lost any of our past six matches in all competitions, and we have played all completions; Champions League, Capital One and the league.

This is the 81st meeting between the two clubs where Man United have enjoyed 48 wins and lost only 14. Man Utd have won 7 of the last ten matches, scored 21 goals and allowed 10 while keeping 5 clean sheets. Wayne Rooney holds the best scoring records against Fulham, scored 11 goals from 18 appearances.

Another thing to note, Berbatov will be lining up against us this time. Though he is having somewhat of a slow start this season, somewhere in him there is still that hero who scored 56 goals in a famous red and white shirt from only 108 appearances. As much as we wish Berbatov good luck, I hope that luck will come after this match and stay and then take a break when they visit Old Trafford only to return a second after the final whistle.

Last meeting at the Cottage resulted into three points and this cool photo as a bonus.

van Persie, Rio and Vidic are fit while Welbeck will not be travelling at all and Carrick is a doubt.

Moyes gave Kagawa a chance and he was left impressed. He gave Chicharito a chance and this is what he said;
"But he's started to do what he's done over the years: score goals. He came off the bench to score the winner [against Stoke] and scored in midweek, so long may that continue."
As if Moyes didn't have enough problems with team selection! With Chicharito getting better and better, let's see what Moyes will do with all those options.

And for a good laugh here is a noisy neighbor being noisy as usual;
"United will find it hard to defend the title since they have a new manager and are really struggling."
Yaya Toure ladies and gentlemen. That has to be the noisiest quote of the month considering Noisy Neighbors are only two points above us. But I guess Pellegrini starting his job on June 14th gave him a very crucial 16 days head start against Moyes who started on July 1st!

Cleverly;
"All the players are getting along with the new manager and the coaching staff, and training has been sharp,"
And I rest my case!

After today's match, the best we can do is 7th place (above Noisy neighbors) and the worst will be 11th place.

!GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!
