Ready or Not: Arsenal

No better way to start this post than with that photo of van Persie!

Arsenal are facing United for the 217th time. They have enjoyed only 17 wins of the 103 matches at the Theatre of Their Nightmares Dreams scoring 87 goals and conceded 192. That is an impressive +105 goal difference!

After this match, the best we can do is second place while the worst is tenth place. Well, coming from the bottom half just a few weeks ago that says a lot about our current form.

Arsenal should not be taken lightly though. Top of the league while leaving second placed Chelsea five points behind says enough about their Ozil form.

Robson to Bruno Gomes and everything in between

Captain Robson and his team landed in Kilimanjaro yesterday and as of this morning he is starting doing what brought him and his team to the beautiful land of Tanzania; climbing the greatest Mount Kilimanjaro. I wish I was a tour guide, a help or just a fly in that team but being towns away from Moshi (that's where Mt. Kilimanjaro is) I will just have to settle for stalking following the action through Twitter.

Luis Nani - Portugal are a point behind Russia in their group but have one advantage: They play their next two matches at home. Portugal hosts Israel on 11th and Luxemburg on 15th.

Sunderland to CR7 and everything in between

Nani's backflip, long time no see!

Sunderland  lost five of their six league games this season and drew one. They have only one point with the weight of all 19 team on top of them at the BPL table. In addition to that, they have conceded 3 goals in every one of their last four matches. They have seen the back of the nets of their opponents only four times and never twice in a single match.

So far this season Manchester United have scored sixteen goals and fifteen of them are from forwards, van Persie (6), Rooney (5), Welbeck (3) and Chicharito (1). Valencia scored one too. Defenders are yet to put their names on the score sheet.

All our forwards, except for Chicharito have already recorded a double, who will take it a step further and score the first hat-trick of the season?

ONE: MIP Rooney

Baba Kai might not be the best player we have but he is, without any doubt the Most Important Player for Manchester United. I have been trying to say this since the transfer rumors started but somehow I could not find the exact words until yesterday.

He is selfless and when he plays you can see the passion and determination in his every move. As Rio would put it; he is a man on a mission. His mission is always to fly the Red flag higher and above every other, and boy, does he always succeed!

Robin for Number 7?

Traditionally, the Number 7 is won by the star of the team. From Bryan Robson, Eric Cantonna to the recent Cristiano Ronaldo.

Robin wearing Number 20 for 2012\2013, I would like to believe was so it could be even more special when we bring home Title Number 20.

Valencia is owning the jersey now and for 2012\2013 he has not done what we expect a Number 7 should do.

So, should Number 7 jersey exchange owners for 2013\2014? Has Robin earned the prestigious Number?

7. Ben Foster

Ben is one of Sir Alex's personal picks. SAF saw Ben when he went to watch his son play. For £1M he signed for MUFC and was sent on two seasons long very successful  loan to Watford. An impressed SAF called him back in 2007 where he served for the Red Army until his honorary discharge in 2010.

Ben left with two League Cup winners' medals to remind him of his 23 appearances and 10 clean sheets for Manchester United.

Ben is now playing for West Bromwich Albion.

6. Carlos Tevez

 From his signing to his departure, Carlos Tevez's stay at MUFC was an eventful one! Signed in 2007 and choose Number 32. His first goal for MUFC was against Chelsea and went on celebrate 33 more while playing 99 games. If fans had the power to keep a player, Tevez would definitely not leave in 2009.

Carlos has two Premier League, One FA cup community shield, one Champions League and One FIFA Club world cup to prove that his two seasons with MUFC were truly eventful.

Tevez is now playing for Manchester City.

5. Dimitar Berbatov

Dimitar Berbatov, or as we would come to nick name him Berbatrick. Berbatov scored four hat tricks (or better) in his four years at Old Trafford. Manchester City were also rumored to have wanted the striker but he was quoted saying; " I would not even think of Manchester City." Berbatov was a loyal soldier to MUFC, probably one of the 'loyalest'we have had lately.

As he was leaving MUFC, we are sure he did not regret choosing us in 2008. Seriously, who would have given him two Premier League, Two FA Community Shield, One League Cup and One FIFA Club world cup in just four seasons?
