Reminder!

Since the world seem to have forgotten just how much pain Utd can cause, to celebrate 15 years since our treble, here is a few photos for a kind reminder.

And this is how happy we can be!

And this is how loving we can be...

My Captain

Soon Moyes  ...... and his team will have to make one of their toughest decisions, naming the next Manchester United Captain. This captaincy is not an easy job and its definitely not as glamorous as it looks. It has its moments, lots of them actually, and it has its bad side; if being worshipped by millions of people from every corner of this world is a problem for you, then this is the worst job you can ever imagine.

I don't have a say (YET) on who will be our next Captain. But looking back at some Captains I still love and adore, here are five qualities our next Captain needs to have:

Tough Love

I am struggling to fall asleep just like how I have after every United game this season.

We lose, I can't sleep because it hurts too much.

We draw like today, I can't sleep because I'm wondering how we couldn't have won. Or like today, how couldn't we have held on for two more minutes. Two minutes for hell's sake!

We win, I can't sleep because I'm celebrating. Celebrating so hard because I just don't know when our next win will be.

That is the United we have become.

But how did we get here? Moyes and his tactics? 46 crosses in the first half! You would think after 20 crosses players would think outside the box (the pitch in this case?) and at least try something else? Or is that not allowed?

I am not so into tactics (I'm not thinking a career into coaching anyways) but after watching our game vs Fulham even I couldn't understand. What's up with all those crosses? Where we going for some world record? There were times I wished for Young to apply his special talent rather than go for a cross. And God knows I'm not a a fan of that special talent.

At the beginning of the season we had issues with our midfield, then we lost our two top strikers and most important players. But all is well now, then our back four decided to put their names into the fuck ups of the season. Can't we have a break? If our midfiel is not shitty, then our forwards are all injured at once or defenders just decide to have a bad day! As one of my fellow Reds on Twitter put it "Lady Lucky flew outta OT". May be @lixos13 is right.

But then, when all failed we used to see players taking matas (no typo) on their own hands and single handledly won us games. It didn't happen on regular basis but they always tried. How else do you think we got that goal from Giggs? I haven't seen that lately, just one player so pissed off with a loss that he will take the ball from our own half to go and score, or at least lose their breath trying. Where is that fighting spirit? Is this also Moyes' faulty?

And as if that was not enough, Moyes had to go and say that he doesn't understand how we didn't get the three points. I recall it was the same thing when we lost to Stoke just a few days ago. I appreciate how Moyes has been honest but this worries me now especially if it is the truth which I think it is. How can a manager not know why we lost then still doesn't know why we drew a week later?

At the end of the day, we all have a part to play when United is winning and succesful. And when we lose, we all contribute to that. Moyes needs to get his shit together, players need to play like they want to win and as for us fans, well, we need to get behind our team. As hard as that is, we just have to. But supporting United doesn't mean you can't be pissed at the manager or players or even fellow Reds.

To Moyes and players, whatever we say, however bad it is just know that it comes from a good place. A place where the UTD logo is permanently tattooed. Tough love? Yeah, that's what this is.

How OLD is Ryan Giggs?

With King Eric. Cantona retired in 1997 when he was 30. He is now an actor and movie director.

With Paul Ince and Bryan Robson. Ince retired in 2007 (at 40yrs old) and is now managing Blackpool while Robson retired in 1997 (at 39yrs old)and is now global ambassador for Manchester United.

With Beckham. Becks retired in May 2013 at the age of 38 and is now enjoying being a celebrity.

With Liverpool's Jamie Carragher. Carragher went pro in 1996 and retired in 2013 at the age of 35. Giggs started in 1991 and just made a man of the match contender performance two days before his 40th birthday.

With ex Gooner Vieira. Vieira retired in 2011 at age 34 and is now managing Noisy Neighbors' Reserves.

With current team mates, Jesse Lingard (20) and Wilfried Zaha (21). Giggs was already a decorated professional players when these two were born.

With current teammate Adnan Januzaj (18). If Giggs had a son at 22 he would be 18 by now (teammates???).

Happy 40th Mr. Manchester

Today, our favorite player/coach/uncle is turning 40. Rooney has said all he can and doesn't know what else to say about Giggs while Moyes thinks with the way Giggs is playing, he will stop playing him when Giggs himself says he DOESN'T want to play anymore.

He is Mr. Manchester and that title is as hard to carry and even harder to earn. He did a lot, but this moment here, I just can't put words to it. This was the moment.

Or, just watch (for a millionth time I assume) it  here

We make sacrifices for people we love the most. Sometimes we do things that nobody else understands, all in the name of love. Here are two photos Giggs posed for Manchester United, if a man doing this for a club doesn't earn him the 'Mr. Manchester' title, then I don't know what will!

Thank you Giggs. Looking forward to another .... (Nobody knows how many) years with you in a red and white shirt.

As easy as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

5 words for this picture: FIVE ASSISTS AND A CAPTAIN.

Don't let that title fool you. Easy ends at three, you don't agree? Well, let's see how many Nos you will have for these questions;

1. Can you count one to five in five different languages?
2. Can you write Welbz's five names without checking on Wikipedia?
3. Can you name the five Reds who made their debuts on this date (November 28th)?
4. Can you name five celebrities that Rio hasn't met?
5. Can you name five UCL records that Man United are yet to break?

Here and There

De Gea did an interview with Bwin and of the things he spoke about were his admiration for Giggs.
"I would like to have the skills of Giggs. I would like to repeat everything he has done in his career and have his skills."
Well, we get it, DDG would really love to have Giggs' skills.

And his favorite athletes that are non-footballers he kept it home with Rafa Nadal and he kept it United with Usain Bolt.

He also took part in the corner kick challenge and dedicated it to Anderson. Anderson took his a few week ago. Who scored the most points? Watch these two videos.

Ready or Not: Arsenal

No better way to start this post than with that photo of van Persie!

Arsenal are facing United for the 217th time. They have enjoyed only 17 wins of the 103 matches at the Theatre of Their Nightmares Dreams scoring 87 goals and conceded 192. That is an impressive +105 goal difference!

After this match, the best we can do is second place while the worst is tenth place. Well, coming from the bottom half just a few weeks ago that says a lot about our current form.

Arsenal should not be taken lightly though. Top of the league while leaving second placed Chelsea five points behind says enough about their Ozil form.

Shakhtar Donetsk: A cold point

Picture perfect.

We would all have loved 3 points but a point is not so  bad. As group standings, we are second to Shakhtar but we have same points and same goal difference. On 23rd this month we will host Real Sociedad and Shakhtar will host Bayer Leverkusen.

Our next opponents are yet to win a match. They suffered a 0-2 home defeat to Shakhtar and lost 1-0 to Leverkusen. Bring on Real Sociedad.

Rooney picked another injury during training! It doesn't seem to be serious as Moyes planned to use him as a sub but decided against it as to not risk any further complications. Moyes also promised that Rooney will be ready for a trip to Sunderland this week end. And this time it was Welbeck. Does Welbz have a magic touch like Jones? Only time will tell....

My Thoughts: Rooney, Mourinho and Moyes

ONE: MIP Rooney

Baba Kai might not be the best player we have but he is, without any doubt the Most Important Player for Manchester United. I have been trying to say this since the transfer rumors started but somehow I could not find the exact words until yesterday.

He is selfless and when he plays you can see the passion and determination in his every move. As Rio would put it; he is a man on a mission. His mission is always to fly the Red flag higher and above every other, and boy, does he always succeed!

Yokohama F. Morinos vs Manchester United: Sponsored by Shinji Kagawa

If you watched the game you will understand why I say the it was sponsored by Kagawa! If AON were aware of the attention Kagawa would get, they would have tattooed AON on his forehead and not bother with branding the jerseys and the stadium!

Zaha's first day

This interview was published on United Uncovered on 10th July. I'll just include my favorite parts and you can click the link to read the rest.

Q: How was your first day at the club on Monday?

Zaha: I just stayed in my corner of the dressing room really and looked about and tried to get used to everyone. Everybody jokes around in the changing room and all that kind of stuff so it was just enjoyable really. I was a bit nervous coming in but everyone is cool so it was nice.

Q: Have the players made you feel welcome?

They Got My Attention: Rooney, Zaha, Alcantara, Rio + Januzaj

By: @Zamaradi_M

 ONE: Wayne 'Baba Kai' Rooney

Again, he got my attention but at least not for transfer reasons. Baba Kai got injured during training and had to cut his tour short. He is going back home to Coleen, Kai and Klay (what? keep up with your players and their families for hell's sake!). MUFC official twitter account also reported that he might be out for at least a month, which means he might miss Community Shield but might be available for Swansea on 17th August. A month from July 11 is August 11, no?

This injury also means that Welbeck has to step up because Zam Persie and Chicha are yet to join the team.

Me: Welbeck, good luck because if last season is any indication, you gonna need lots of luck!

As you would expect, the injury just made an introduction to another chapter of the Rooney madness. Some believe that he was sent home to pack and the injury was just a story to not take the attention from the tour. Until that is announced by the club, it is just a rumor!

Get well soon Baba Kai.

There is only One Cantona!

Stumbled across this interview by host Danny boy and guest Rio which was done during a photo shoot for the new 2013/2014 home kit.

Danny: Will you be wearing the collar up or down?
Rio: Down. There's only one person who should be wearing it up and that's Eric Cantonna. He's retired now.

Danny: One of your fellow team members has worn it up in today's photoshoot ...
Rio: Who's that? Is it Wazza?
Danny: You'll see the pictures ...
Rio: Is it Wazza?
Danny: That's a good guess.
Rio: Why's he trying to do a Cantona. There's only one Cantona! (laughs)
Danny: That's Wazza for you, isn't it?

Danny: On a matchday do you have any routines you follow?
Rio: Have you not seen them?
Danny: Well, I’m usually too busy doing my own thing.

Catch the full interview here.

Can Rooney pull this off? I would love to see him try!

How did that collar stay up even after playing and celebrations? Wouldn't we all like to know!

Watch this video as some players tried the Cantona during a photo shoot. Even Giggs tried it and he was not named as a suspect! I guess Rooney makes for an easy target!

First Training - How it all went down

Where do I start?

A photo may be?

Okay boys, get to work!

 As ready as can be.

Can this be our new kit? I mean the size and design?

Ladies, you see what I mean?

Ooh Ando. Is that a new hair style? May it come with a new kind of season. And I would love to know what that tat means.

Hey Young Rafael...

Hahahaha... Girl, that's Fabio. I'm over here!

So, here's the thing. You're a player-coach, coach-player, whatever they call you but when we're on the pitch, I am THE co-captain. We clear?

Whew! And that's not even all of them!

ALL photos from Headquarters.
