He is baaaack

Darren Fletcher is back.

Not back playing for the first team but back playing competitive football. He was featured on Monday on the u21 side which drew 2-2 against Fulham.

Right before the start of this season Fletcher went through another operation that if successful would guarantee him back to playing before end of this season.

After weeks of training Fletcher was to play 60 minutes and just for fun added another 7 minutes in the field. He said he was fit to play more but every footballer knows better than to go against those sports science lads.
"The plan was to get to half-time and see how I felt. Then get to 60 minutes and take it from there and, although I felt I could have gone on a bit longer, the plan was not to play more than that so I'm better sticking to the plan and not upsetting the sports science lads."
A quick recovery to Darren and we can't wait to have you back.
