ONE: Fabregas
Are you all having a fabSo, we are back to Cesc Fabregas! This one I like and hate at the same time. Like it because I would loooove to see Fabregas in a red MUFC shirt and hate it because after the Alcantara issue, I am not sure I can handle another heart break!
The Sun say their source confirmed that Cesc would rather go to Old Trafford than a trip back to Arsenal. I just hope it is not the same source who said Alcantara signed a 5 year deal with MUFC.
Sky Sports reports the same thing adding that Manchester United has made a
£25m bid for the midfielder but Barcelona think Cesc is worth more than that.
Last month Cesc said;
But a lot can change in a month! We'll just sit here and wait and definitely not hold our breaths.
Then we have Wenger! Arsenal have to refuse to pay £25m for Cesc before anybody else will be allowed to have him. Is Wenger going to allow a Fabpersie (Fabregas and Zam Persie) re union? Is Wenger the kind of a guy to spend £25m on one player much less a player he has sold only two years ago?
And will Barcelona sell Cesc especially after selling Thiago?
Don't look for answers here, I don't have them!
Que sera sera...
Stay United.
THREE: Rooney
You type Manchester United latest news and you need some serious determination to ignore Wayne Rooney! And here he is again!On his injury, no new news (??), same one week old story. He might not be available when we start the season.
As for his future, it's interesting. Moyes said that Rooney will be playing behind Zam Persie and if Zam Persie is injured he'll be expected to fill in;
"Wayne can play up on his own, he can play dropped in. Overall my thought on Wayne is, if for any reason we had an injury to Robin van Persie, we'll need him."But then, the season has not started and nobody knows what kind of a season it will be for Zam Persie or Baba Kai. Remember the 2011/2012 Player of the Year Valencia and 2012/2013 not so player of the month Valencia? My point is, Rooney just needs to concentrate on what's important here, being the best he can be. Last season doesn't define this season.
About his £250,000 a week contract that expires in two years, club's vice chairman said;
"There are no contract renewals that are being discussed. I am not sitting down with any player on an extension and there is no trigger date in the diary. Would we be afraid to run a contract down? Of course not."Good luck my dearest Baba Kai, looks like you need all the luck you can get.
Catch the story here.
FOUR: De Gea
Number One is back with the team and he started training with the new goalkeeping coach, Chris Woods. Considering the relationship he had with the former goalkeeping coach Eric Steele, this session was one we were looking forward to. will Chris go to the extent of, say, learning Spanish just so he could communicate with De Gea like Steele did? No pressure Woods but Ferguson is not the only one who left some pretty big shoes to be filled!Honestly, I am not worried about these two. Woods worked with Everton since 1998, that's gotta say something about the guy! De Gea started the season on a bad note, criticism from left, right, back and forth and he rose above all that to become the best goal keeper in 2012/2013 in EPL (ask PFA for reference)! They are both strong, determined, hard working. A match made at Old Trafford, or Sydney? Manchester United is in safe hands.
We're in this together son, you and me, okay?
Making De Gea Number One is one thing, making him smile like that? Thank You Steele!
Most of the story comes from my memories and some from here.
Alcantara
Might be another four years before Alcantara gets my attention, so until then, All the best Thiago. Hope you get what you were looking for with Bayern Munich and if not, 26 is not a bad age to joing Manchester United!ser feliz chico (I hope Google translator didn't let me down!)
AdiĆ³s
Until then, I will just keep this.
Wesley Snipes and Welbeck.
How close is this?
