How OLD is Ryan Giggs?

With King Eric. Cantona retired in 1997 when he was 30. He is now an actor and movie director.

With Paul Ince and Bryan Robson. Ince retired in 2007 (at 40yrs old) and is now managing Blackpool while Robson retired in 1997 (at 39yrs old)and is now global ambassador for Manchester United.

With Beckham. Becks retired in May 2013 at the age of 38 and is now enjoying being a celebrity.

With Liverpool's Jamie Carragher. Carragher went pro in 1996 and retired in 2013 at the age of 35. Giggs started in 1991 and just made a man of the match contender performance two days before his 40th birthday.

With ex Gooner Vieira. Vieira retired in 2011 at age 34 and is now managing Noisy Neighbors' Reserves.

With current team mates, Jesse Lingard (20) and Wilfried Zaha (21). Giggs was already a decorated professional players when these two were born.

With current teammate Adnan Januzaj (18). If Giggs had a son at 22 he would be 18 by now (teammates???).

Happy 40th Mr. Manchester

Today, our favorite player/coach/uncle is turning 40. Rooney has said all he can and doesn't know what else to say about Giggs while Moyes thinks with the way Giggs is playing, he will stop playing him when Giggs himself says he DOESN'T want to play anymore.

He is Mr. Manchester and that title is as hard to carry and even harder to earn. He did a lot, but this moment here, I just can't put words to it. This was the moment.

Or, just watch (for a millionth time I assume) it  here

We make sacrifices for people we love the most. Sometimes we do things that nobody else understands, all in the name of love. Here are two photos Giggs posed for Manchester United, if a man doing this for a club doesn't earn him the 'Mr. Manchester' title, then I don't know what will!

Thank you Giggs. Looking forward to another .... (Nobody knows how many) years with you in a red and white shirt.

Ready or Not: Cardiff City

The last time we played Cardiff it was a 4-0 win and most of us can only read about that. The match was played in 1975! As for the history books, we have won more games away to Cardiff than we have hosting them at Old Trafford. The overall record is not that impressive, +10 goal difference, 13 wins and 7 loses. For any other club that would be good news, but we have different standards. We want a goal difference in three digits, like Arsenal's +106.

Cardiff have kept 7 points from their five home games while United have collected 9 from away games. As we seek our 10th unbeaten match in all competitions, Cardiff will come with confidence too as they managed three points from Noisy Neighbors in a 3-2 home win and another 3 from Swansea.

Cardiff allowed 13 goals in the league while United's back four have the weight of 15 goals. Looking at stats, this game might be decided by forwards where United have scored a double of Cardiff's 9.

After today, the best we can do is second position while the worst is tenth. As for the teams above us, things will not be easy either. Arsenal (top of the league) will host Southampton (3rd place), Liverpool will travel to Everton and Chelsea to West Ham while Man City will host Spurs. Of all the teams in the top 8, only United and Chelsea will play teams out of the top 8.
Translation: Points will be dropped, guaranteed.

van Persie has scored in each of our past four league games adding two assist just for fun while Rooney has assisted once in every one of our past four league games adding two goals just to keep things balanced.

Glory Glory Man United!

Here and There

De Gea did an interview with Bwin and of the things he spoke about were his admiration for Giggs.
"I would like to have the skills of Giggs. I would like to repeat everything he has done in his career and have his skills."
Well, we get it, DDG would really love to have Giggs' skills.

And his favorite athletes that are non-footballers he kept it home with Rafa Nadal and he kept it United with Usain Bolt.

He also took part in the corner kick challenge and dedicated it to Anderson. Anderson took his a few week ago. Who scored the most points? Watch these two videos.

Ready or Not: Arsenal

No better way to start this post than with that photo of van Persie!

Arsenal are facing United for the 217th time. They have enjoyed only 17 wins of the 103 matches at the Theatre of Their Nightmares Dreams scoring 87 goals and conceded 192. That is an impressive +105 goal difference!

After this match, the best we can do is second place while the worst is tenth place. Well, coming from the bottom half just a few weeks ago that says a lot about our current form.

Arsenal should not be taken lightly though. Top of the league while leaving second placed Chelsea five points behind says enough about their Ozil form.

Seeing the Invicibles

Remember The Invisibles? Yap, that Arsenal class of 2004 that thought they could celebrate their 50th unbeaten game at Old Trafford! Old Trafford?! Well, as we always say, only one set of dreams come true at the Theatre of Dreams, and that is not the dreams of visitors. This occasion was no different.

But how did Manchester United do it?

SAF in 2009: Moyes is the Best

Back in 2009 club's website collected questions from celebrities that were directed towards Sir Alex.

Here is one of them which is also proof that Sir Alex believed in Moyes since then;

Who do you think is the best manager in the Premier League in terms of man-management and making the most of the resources available to him? Eamonn Holmes, TV presenter

They Got My Attention: Fabregas, Red Soldiers, Rooney, De Gea, Alcantara + Welbeck

ONE: Fabregas

Are you all having a fabregas Tuesday?

So, we are back to Cesc Fabregas! This one I like and hate at the same time. Like it because I would loooove to see Fabregas in a red MUFC shirt and hate it because after the Alcantara issue, I am not sure I can handle another heart break!

The Sun say their source confirmed that Cesc would rather go to Old Trafford than a trip back to Arsenal. I just hope it is not the same source who said Alcantara signed a 5 year deal with MUFC.

Sky Sports reports the same thing adding that Manchester United has made a
£25m bid for the midfielder but Barcelona think Cesc is worth more than that.

Last month Cesc said;
